Traditional Craftsmanship.
New Life for Your Jewellery.

Jewellery is made to be worn, treasured and passed on. When a favourite piece becomes worn, damaged or broken, it deserves the hands of someone who knows the craft. At New Life Jewellery Services, every piece is personally handled by an experienced goldsmith with decades of bench experience in jewellery repair, restoration and manufacturing.

A Goldsmith's Craft, Learned the Traditional Way

Peter began his goldsmithing career in Southern Ontario in 1984, when he joined W.J. Shaw Jewelers as an apprentice.

Training under Austrian Master Goldsmith Eugene Tuchel, Peter learned the traditional skills of the trade from the bench up – from ring sizing and chain repairs to stone setting, restoration and custom jewellery manufacturing.

He progressed from apprentice to Workshop Manager and Head Goldsmith, later establishing his own jewellery business and going on to train apprentices himself.

Today, that experience sits behind every piece that comes across the New Life Jewellery Services workbench.

Start With an Estimate

Every repair is different.

Send Peter a few details about your jewellery, along with clear photographs where possible, and he can provide an initial assessment of the work that may be required.

For more complicated repairs, precious-metal work or custom fabrication, an individual estimate can be provided before work begins.
